Silver Mountain, which is looking forward to an eventful weekend, was the benefactor of five inches of snow on Powder Thursday.
On Friday, the resort is celebrating its 44th birthday celebration. “Ski and ride for only $12 on this special day and come share some stories of the early days at the Jackass Ski Bowl and Silverhorn,” the resort's website read.
Also available on Friday is a Ski-Surf-Scarf deal: For $39 one gets a lift ticket, waterpark pass and a food and drink voucher for current college students. If you miss out this Friday, have no fear, this deal is available every Friday.
If you want to make a weekend at the mountain, on Saturday there will be the USASA Boarder/Skier Cross, when “The region's best skiers and boarders compete on a wild course filled with twists, jumps and gates.”
