Spirit Lake City Hall moves | Public Spaces

Spirit Lake City Hall has moved about a block.

The Coeur d'Alene Press reported that city employees will now be housed at 6042 Maine Street, east of the hall's former location in a redesigned Pawn Shop.
The biggest change resulting from the move is the city is now housing its council meetings in the new building.

“It's a serious upgrade for the city and the whole community,” Mayor Todd Clary said in the report.

The city bought the building for $150,000. The building that was previously used as the city hall will be remodeled before the police department takes over the space.
