One of the area's most interesting summer attractions is the Ghost Town Trolley, which bring history to life during a haunted tour of the area's mining past.

Carol Roberts works with students regarding college and higher education during the academic school year. But in the summer, she’s “ghost” Lucy Wallace, the wife of Colonel Wallace.

Memorabilia from the 2010 Commemoration of the Great Fire of 1910 are being packed away inside a time capsule to be opened a hundred years from now. On Saturday, August 20th, that time capsule will be placed and sealed inside a hollowed area of granite inside the Firefighter's Memorial at the Wallace Visitor's Center.

It's an effort to communicate with future generations. In 2110 when it comes time to open the time capsule, they'll find objects commemorating a fire that occurred 200-years prior.

Inland Northwest Honor Flight is making it's third trip of 2011 this Friday July 15 at 11:55. Vets will be gathering at the Spokane Airport about 10:30 am...they will return Sunday July 17 at 4:20 in the afternoon. INWHF will be making a special presentation on Friday July 15 to the family of Pvt. Herman Sturmer whose remains were recently returned to Spokane. Inland Northwest Honor Flight continues to honor our living World War II vets for their sacrifices and especially those who paid the ultimate price--giving their lives to protect our freedoms.
